The tour starting point is London. Set on two islands in the middle of the lake and rising dreamlike above its own breath-taking reflection, Leeds Castle is most known for being the residence of King Henry VIII’s first wife Catherine of Aragon, among other female monarchs. The castle was originally a Norman stronghold, which was built in 1109.
Later on we will be visiting Canterbury, where you will be able to visit Canterbury Cathedral. The city centre, where we will go through streets which contain more than 1,500 years of history, is still preserved.
Founded in the 11th Century, Dover Castle has been described as the “Key to England” due to its defensive significance throughout history. It is believed to be the largest castle in England. It is also seen as an internationally important structure. Explore this amazing castle which contains thousands of years of history within its walls.
