Oxford – Blenheim Palace – Shakespeare’s Stratford Upon Avon

Blenheim Palace, in the peaceful Woodstock area, is the birthplace of Sir Winston Churchill. It is one of the most impressive buildings in the whole of the United Kingdom, with beautifully landscaped gardens and an impressive sculptured maze, being the only residence not belonging to the royal family that has received the title of palace.

In Oxford, you will have the opportunity to visit Christ Church College, which was the setting of one of the infamous Harry Potter films. We will also be visiting Bodleian Library, one of the oldest libraries in the world.

Stratford-upon-Avon, a medieval market town, is the 16th Century birthplace of William Shakespeare. Here we will visit Shakespeare’s birthplace, his childhood home, his school and his resting place, which is in a 13th Century church. We will also be able to visit his daughter’s residence (Hall’s Croft), as well as Royal Shakespeare Theatre.
